cable ﬂap-list insertion-time

To set the insertion time interval, use the cable ﬂap-list insertion-time global conﬁguration

command. Use the no form of this command to disable insertion time.

cable ﬂap-list insertion-time seconds

Usage Guidelines

This command controls the operation of a ﬂapping modem detector. When the link establishment

rate of a modem is shorter than the period deﬁned by this command, the modem is placed in the ﬂap

list.

Example

The following example sets the insertion time interval to 62 seconds:

Router(config)# cable flap-list insertion-time 62

86400.

cable ﬂap-list aging Speciﬁes when a modem’s entry in the ﬂap-list table will be

deleted.

cable ﬂap-list power-adjust threshold Speciﬁes the power-adjustment threshold for recording a ﬂap-list

event.

cable ﬂap-list size Speciﬁes the maximum number of modems that can be reported

to the ﬂap-list table.

clear cable ﬂap-list Resets the ﬂap-list table.
